Multi Engine Land

Private / Commercial Multi Engine Land License

The Multi Engine Land rating is a great add on to any license, Private or Commercial. This rating allows pilots to fly aircraft with more than one engine safely and effectively. People do not realize sometimes but the additional engine can be the greatest tool of a pilot or lead to the ultimate demise of a flight. At the Airline Training Academy of Puget Sound we take our Multi Engine Flying very seriously. We take time ensuring that our Multi Engine students have what it takes to keep themselves safe when utilizing the tool of an additional engine. This is not a program that was designed like most of the others out there. Many Multi Engine programs are thought up with the idea that we are going to find an aircraft that makes it as easy as possible for the student to get their rating like a Seminole or a Dutchess. These aircraft have the easiest single engine designs out there but are rarely flown outside of the training environment. With this in mind we created a program around a Beechraft Barron. This high performance aircraft has realistic single engine characteristics that will prepare students for flying any Multi Engine aircraft with minimal adaptation. ATA is a part of a small group of flight schools that are truly out to teach you Multi Engine flying in a true multi engine aircraft and not just give you your rating. We like to think that instead of depending on giving you an easy aircraft with an under qualified instructor we are going to give you a realistic aircraft with completely qualified instructor. In this course Pilots will learn or increase their knowledge in:

• Multi Engine Regulations

• Multi Engine Aerodynamics

• Multi Engine Systems
